LIE TESTS/POLYGRAPH TESTS
Thank you for taking the time to read the information on Lie Detector/Polygraph Testing. We are specialising in polygraph testing, Vetting/Screening/Tracing and Criminal Records.
We are qualified (American International Institute of Polygraph) and experienced (15 years Law Enforcement Agency) and use the latest polygraph techniques and instrumentation (Limestone Equipment) to ensure the maximum reliability of our work.
The polygraph works by tracing changes in a person’s Physiological conditioning during questioning. This is done by attaching various components to the subject. While the subject is attached to the equipment, he/she is asked agreed and carefully constructed questions, and in replying his body generates tracings on the polygraph charts. In analysing these tracings, the examiner reaches a conclusion to the subject’s honesty.
We will work with the client to construct questions that cover the test issue as well as following the protocol that ensure validity.
Polygraph test accuracy depends on various factors including the issue under investigation, test technique used and the experience and the ability of the examiner. We are qualified and use validated (by the American Polygraph Association) test techniques. We use our experience and knowledge to access appropriate test technique in relation to the issue you require testing.
Test Process:
•during the pre-test interview – the examiner will explain how the polygraph works, discuss the specific issue, develop, and review all the questions.
•Collection of charts – during this phase the subject will be attached to the polygraph. Set of questions will be asked several times.
•Analysis of Charts – the examiner will analyse the results before giving a decision as to the subject’s truthfulness or deception to the test issue.
WHAT YOU SHOULD ASK
•Is the examiner professionally trained at the American International Institute of Polygraph (accredited polygraph school)?
•Does the examiner use modern computerised polygraph instruments with updated software and test techniques?
•Is the examiner a member of the American Polygraph Association?
