The Payroll Officer will be responsible for –
•processing and assisting in the coordination and preparation of weekly/fortnight and or monthly payroll in accordance with payroll Policies.
•Processing and uploading Time Sheets.
•Maintaining employee records and providing effective communications with all staff regarding payroll matters.
The Ideal Candidate should possess –
•Have a Grade 12 certificate with mathematics and accounting as passed subjects while a post school qualification in payroll will be an added advantage
•Excellent knowledge of Excel, and SAGE payroll is a prerequisite
•At least 5 years’ experience in Payroll processing
•Be able to handle queries with all Sites
•Be time competent, Self-motivating, physically be able to do filling
•Must be able to work under pressure and meeting deadlines
•Problem Solving skills
•Knowledge of the BCEA
