PERMANENT POSITION
Salary scale: Annual Package: Maximum – R 960 000.00 negotiable TCTC (Depending on experience)

1.0PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To manage the Base Metals sales and marketing department and achieve the Company objectives by procuring new projects.
2.0KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
•Identify and pursue new business opportunities
•Build and maintain good relations with existing and new clients
•Perform customer satisfaction surveys
•Constantly stay abreast with of positive and negative customer perceptions
•Update the Marketing Co-ordinator with a customer database including key personnel in each organisation.
•Guide and assist the Project team in interpreting the project commercial & technical requirements
•Negotiate contract technical & commercial conditions with clients
•Manage the Base Metals team in terms of guiding , developing and mentoring employees
•Prepare sales and marketing budgets
•Assist in preparation of sales forecasts
3.0EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
•Minimum experience of 5 years within the smelting industry and knowledge of base metals (platinum, nickel, copper, ferro-nickel, zinc)

3.1Minimum Qualifications
•A B.Eng/BSC Engineering or Metallurgy or Equivalent

5.0DESCRIPTION OF WORK ENVIRONMENT:
•Frequent travelling locally and overseas, interaction with clients at an intermediate and senior level
